Sometimes the best conversations happen when you least expect them.
In this episode, I’m taking the podcast downtown and having conversations with people I’ve never met before - about faith, doubt, prayer, church, and what it looks like to follow Jesus in everyday life.
One conversation especially stuck with me. I met Sky, who grew up around Christianity but has wrestled with what she sees and hears from Christians today. We talked honestly about politics, spiritual questions, church hurt, creativity, and what she thinks about Jesus.
We also talk about something I know a lot of us wrestle with: How do you actually talk about your faith with people who don’t go to church? I share some simple ways to start those conversations through praying for opportunities, asking questions, sharing your story, inviting someone along, and most importantly, letting the way we live point people toward Jesus.
Because following Jesus isn't about having all the right answers or forcing a conversation. Sometimes it starts with simply being willing to sit down, listen, and love someone well.
